Summary: modify crossfalls by linearly changing between different assemblies

Description: This is a wish submitted on behalf of a customer.

They would like to be able to specify a distance over which one assembly merges linearly to another one. I assume this will only be possible when the subassemblies are all the same and it is only the dimensions that are different.

This is what they are already used to from other software.
