Default Revit - hidding roof lines flat roof

    I have a multi-plane flat roof:
    1. rigid roof insulation on deck at a slope of 1/4"
    2. RRI on concrete slab on deck - flat
    3. RRI on deck - flat

    1. I know that once you slope a roof element, you can't modify the sub-elements so i had to create basically crickets for drainage.
my question is this, at the ridge of the crickets where 2 different roofs come together, is it possible to 'hide' the coplanar lines (see attached roof hide)

    2. is there a better way to show crickets i.e. at a roof penetration (elevator shaft)? is there a 'free form' option?

    thanks.

    1. You could hide the lines using the linework tool.
    2. You could build crickets by making a flat roof (no slopes anywhere) and then using the "modify sub elements" tool. That's probably as close to free-form as you'll get.

that's what i did regarding the crickets. didn't know that you can use the linework tool on things like this.

    thanks!
