Summary: Allow multiple systems to connect with each other without loss of flow or connectivity. Examples include: Sanitary and Vent, and HHW Return to HHW Supply.
Description: Currently, in order to connect two system classifications via piping or duct, you must create a family to break the systems as a workaround. The workaround is clunky at best, and if you are attempting to combine flow values of the systems, a dialog will warn you that system flows are being turned off due to a classification mis-match.
Sanitary and Vent systems are always connected. Other systems which contain a return system in piping frequently connect the return back into the supply. Some systems loop completely.
Duct systems sometimes require multiple system connections as well such as return air or relief air connection into supply air.
