railing post perpendicular to stair angle

I have made a nice railing that should be added to a stair. But are there a way to make the railing post follow the stairs angle, instead of the basic vertical position? ...Thought they made a workaround for this in 2007, but cannot find that *** tutorial.

If the railing is already placed but not attached to the stair, then select the railing, right click and choose Anchor > Attach to object.

Or if you are just inserting the railing for the first time, go to Properties palette first and change the attachment type from none to flight or stair...

Assuming that you want the posts on a railing that is attached to the sloped portion of a stair run to be perpendicular to the run, rather than vertical, select the railing and, on the Properties palette, on the Design tab, in the Basic category, in the Dimensions sub-category, set the Perpendicular posts property to Yes.
