Default Beam Graphical Zero Inch Offset of Stick Symbol Location

Is there a way to show graphically an Zero inch offset of beams in plan using stick symbology? Back in basic Autocad days if I had two beams directly on top of one another I would show a slight offset of one of the lines and dimension with 0" to indicate that there are two beams directly on top of one another. In the project I am working on I have 2 beams on top of one another with a 6" gap between bottom and top flanges and would like to show that there are two beams (without drawing a section or adding drafting lines).

Any Help, advise, or links to where this has been discussed before would be greatly appreciated. (I am using Revit 2013 currently)

    Regards,

I've done this 3 different ways.
There is a "graphical offset beam" family. Not sure if it's part of the OOTB content, but I'll bet you can find it on their website.
The other option I've done, since you'll need to provide the elevation of each member was to put the tag for the upper beam with the top elevation (spot elevation) above and the tag for the lower beam and elevation below.
Other times I've just drawn a line (not a big fan of that one.)
I've also just gone to drawing an elevation to show what's going on.
    Hope this helps.

Thanks for the help. I will search for the "Graphic Offset Beam". Seems like that would be the best solution. I also ran across this thread:

The method mentioned in this thread adds a parameter to the beam family that allows the graphical offset of lines. This seems to do the trick. I will try it out and see how it works.

    Thanks again.
