Is there a way to override a dimension's reported value. ie, make a dimension read "REF. STRUCTURAL." Thanks.

Well, one way is to place a white filled region over the dimension text and manually add your note.

    Not elegant, but it works.

Alternatively, if your text is set to an opaque background, it will cover the dimension text without a filled region.

You don't need the filled region, just make a text style that has an opaque background, if the dim text is too long for the new text to hide, I just make a dim style that is displaying inches instead of feet and inches and that usually makes it small enough or you can make the actual size of the dim text smaller.

Good Tip Scott! I hadn't thought of that. I am going to give that a try too.
