    Default Update Title Blocks

I am trying to write a script to update all of my Title Blocks with a new logo and a new date. The location of my title block, which is a block is:
    X:AutoCadDrawings03/BLOCKR14/FormatA2.dwg

I currently have to update all of my Drawings one at a time--opening the drawing and clicking on the titleblock, clicking on the date and changing the date, and then inserting the new updated title block and choosing redefine.

What not just use Sheet Set Manager (SSM) to populate an attributed title block with fields?

Make all title block changes you need in SSM without opening a single drawing, and plot. Lemon squeezy.

I have never used Sheet Set Manager before. Is it hard to learn how to do that.

If they're attributed title blocks the attin and attout express commands work. You still have to open each drawing but just a matter of clicking the titleblock will update them.

It may take a little getting used to, and does require some good planning in advance to take advantage of all features, but well worth the time & effort (speaking from personal experience).

    Cheers
