Default Using fields for note #s

I'm trying to insert a field for note #- as in "see note #xx, sheet xx". No problem with the sheet no. field, but I can't figure out how to enter a field for the note # in the plan set sheets to coorespond to the note number on the sheet with the notes on it. Can someone help?

It's not super easy to explain, but once you "get it", it's not that hard of a process.
Essentially, you create named views in the drawing where the note, detail, or whatever lives.
Then you reference that view with a callout block in the other drawing.

Kate does a much better job explaining here with video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DJyfwJXdK2M
