    Question AutoCAD Raster Design

Has anyone used AutoCAD Raster Design? We currently use GTX RasterCAD, but when we updated to Product Design Suite 2014 we saw we now had AutoCAD Raster Design. I have not found any good information about Autodesk's raster package to make a good comparision. If it works like GTX then we could save ourselves some money and set up by eliminating GTX.

Didn't you essentially ask this already?

What differences did you notice when you downloaded and tested the free trial of Raster Design for yourself, as Ed suggested here?

Moderators will move your Raster Design questions to the Raster Design forum, so that users versed in that product will see it.

I have not used GTX, and only used Raster Design briefly. From what I saw, it did a good job of despeckling and made it easier to trace.
Of course, I did not use it much, once Autodesk introduced PDF underlay in AutoCAD, as I would just trace in there instead. But, I did that only on a smaller scale for updates, not to recreate plans. If I'd have worked on a larger scale conversion project, I would have used it more.
