    Default Bad lines - Plotting

    plotter.JPGHi All,
    New to the forum.
We are using AutoCAD Lt 2009 and an HP110 plotter.

Recently, I ran into an issue with the plotter where the output looks like the plotter needs alignment - photo attached.

    Conditions:
Printed without issues in the past.
Printed to the same plotter from Solidworks with no issues
The lines have no issues on the screen or in a .pdf file
The "jagged" lines only happen in one direction
Print an alignment page on the plotter and its fine.

I'm not sure what else to do and any help is appreciated.

    Thank you Chris

That all suggests that the problem is in the dwg file(s). Are you plotting from modelspace or a layout?

If it's just one (or a few) files start by trying the PLAN command (within a viewport, if necessary) to make sure your viewpoint is giving a true plan view.

    Code:
    plan
    [enter]
