There is something AutoCAD Map 2011 does not like inside this laptop but I cannot figure out what it could be. AutoCAD has become very unpredictable and unstable, it will run from 1 minute to 8 hours but most of the time the program will just close without any warnings, messages, or errors, it just closes.

I can get it to shut down if I run a LISP routine, the routine will finish and I go to move the cursor and it will close, it isn't the routine I'm running as I can use any routine with the same result. Just drawing lines and circles it might be fine but you better save after every click of the mouse.

The demo of AutoCAD Map 2014 seems to run fine, but I have no need for any of the upgrades or the cost!

Map 2011 ran fine on an older Dell M6500 with the same operating system.

Here are the stats on the new laptop if that would help

Intel Core i7-4900
32 GB RAM
Win 7 64bit
NVIDIA Quadro K4100M
2 500GB SSD

I installed Map 2011 on another HD and used that in the new laptop and had the same result, so I don't believe it's a faulty HD.

I've tried many different configuration from compatibility mode to disabling all of the settings...

Any assistance would be appreciated.
