Profile Structure Label Styles

I am trying to create a label style for my utility structures in my profile.

What I am trying to do is creating a similar style for labeling pipe structures that have similar functionality for labeling my vertical curves, where they are anchor to PC and PT points when the text is dragged. The text moves with any associated elements but the anchor points stay pinned.

For my pipe structures, I want my line to be pinned to my top of structure so that when I drag my pipe text my text will move with any associated elements bt the anchor point should stay pinned to the op of structure.

I don't not like using the leader because it seems to loose functionality.

Here is an image of what I have done so far, but cant seem to get the line to anchor to the top of structure. Basically the I want the line to continue down and anchor to the top of the structure. Can this be done?

Structure labels are not the best in Civil 3D for ever we have been doing various methods to achieve this. If you add a bend to the leader it can be centered up. The way we have it at my current employer is that it centers, but DO NOT drag it. I have worked with several autodesk reps, and resellers and have yet to find a decent solution just work arounds.

Its funny that they don't add a crossing label option to the network labels. You already have structure and pipe, just add in the crossings and be done with it.

I guess my next question is how do you select the crossing to label when it is inside a structure. Every time I try to label it by select the crossing it just re-labels the structure.
