This technology has the ability to significantly improve Revit responsiveness.
I know it's been discussed but can we add mutli-core (multi-threaded) support in Revit to the wishlist.

Yes, this definitely belongs in the wishlist. Properly speaking, it's not "dual-core support", it's "make the thing multithreaded". We are aware of the desire, but, as usual, don't hold your breath.
Actually, to bring back an old wish, can we bring up true "double core" support... ie a structural core and a thermal/air barrier core.
I link to my old thread on a thermal core but I don't know how.
Andre, I suspect you are talking about something completely different.
I suspect that this thread was about hyper threading and dual processor support, dual core in terms of computer architecture... but in reminded me of the idea of dual core in constructed architecture. A totally different concept, yes, but I couldn't imagine anyone disagreeing with the idea of Revit taking advantage of the latest processor advancements so I thought I would pirate the thread... I guess I got busted.
You might say you got " bushwacked " ( with no intended slur to any past or current President )
beegee, that is just cruel. Some of us have to deal with this embarrassment until we can emigrate to Norway.
Oh I see, we can make a thread more political but not more architectural. Doesn't matter anyway, thermal cores won't be important for the next 4 years, and actually at the rate things are warming up...
