    Default RETAINING WALL

i need to add a retaining wall at the end of a noise berm when add the 2d plines in as break lines it does not modify the surface proper. my noise berm is 2d plines at the proper elevations added as contours in the definition. Am i doing the right process or is there an easier way to achieve the same thing

Do your 2D polylines overlap horizontally? The higher polyline should be offset inside the other slightly.

0.00001 ought to work. The mathematical model of a TINN does not permit 'true' vertical (or overhanging) surfaces. but as long as there's _some_ difference, you should be good

even like that it looks like garbage. i have smooth contours on and the lines over run into the retaining wall.

do all TIN lines stop at the retaining wall? e.g. none of the tin lines should extend from a contour line to the far side of the retaining wall

ok i forgot to post but i resolved this i added extra points on the feature line at the corners or where a contour intersects the retaining wall. it seems the solution to everything grading is to just add more points.
