I cannot speak to which is best, as I do not use any of these, however you can now use AutoCAD for this via the new PDFIMPORT Command.

OP indicated he/she is using 2012, so they won't be able to use the new 2017 feature.

OK and to think I spend 2 1/2 hours getting my eyes tested and pictures of them taken. Then the doctor says they look good as they did a year ago.
It may not have been apparent, but I was totally laughing at myself for overlooking that version distinction above, and honestly didn't know that it was there (in terms of this thread). Haha
I remember AUGI adding the feature a while back, but clearly missed it when I first posted; I just had 2017 on the brain, and thought it might help - someone? - given Autodesk is trying to kill off all non-subscription customers through attrition.
