Floors and view filter not working as expected

I have a floor plan that has a lot of platforms associated with it. I tried to find the sweet spot with the view range but that didn't help, so I went to view filters.
I've assigned a parameter to the view filter and to the floor and the beams that support it. But it doesn't seem to be working correctly.
The beams don't display but the floor does. They both have the same parameter setting. I even did a copy and paste just to make sure everything was done correctly.
Any idea why a floor object isn't behaving as expected with a view filter applied?

OK - stupid question; are you certain that the Floors Category is included in your View Filter? Otherwise, can you recreate this behavior in a new Project file and/or post a sample?
