Default Adding dimensions in side view

Autocad Architecture 2014. I have no trouble adding dimensions and text in plan (top) view but I can't add them in any other view such as side view, front view etc. The dimensions and other annotations I add show up ony in top view. I need to print side and front view for the contractor and city with dimensions showing. How do I do this? I don't recall this being a problem in previous versions of Autocad, back to version 14.

I don't know allot about ACA (2014) but, are we talking annotating on a vertical model?
And if so do you have your UCS set to the appropriate view to annotate?

Just curious, not sure how automated it is in ACA, but if you're viewing a vertical face and your UCS is on World (WCS) you can't annotate it.

    Just a thought
