    Default Something in the works

FYI everyone, I've got something forthcoming...
Yes, the entire model will be available for download. I'm thinking of using it in my presentation at CS BIM Workshop in Omaha in 2 months.

This was done over the weekend with a screamin' 3 month old in the background.

Yes, all my test renders get vetted in Revit before moved over to 3dsMax. But with ONE click on my tablet, a filter does that to the image. Zero photoshop! I can't begin to tell you how incomplete this model is but this image looks 75% complete. Like I said, I will be posting the model at some point. (on another site, the model is roughly 44Mb).

Attached is my preliminary revit model image for the double curved solar shade. Screenshot 2014-05-25 17.43.07.png

Yeah, I don't think anyone around here is going to judge you too harshly.
Of course, that's coming from someone who spent part of her honeymoon in the Autodesk Usability Lab, so, I might be biased.

It's great being able to hold that in your hands, isn't it? Very sweet.
    What brand/model/material is that from?

Yeah, there's something to be said for spinning it in 3D in your hands vs. screen.

The resin is DSM Somos NeXt and was built on a 3D Systems SLA-5000. Can't say for sure yet, but this model maybe ending up on InterPRO's website they liked it so much!
