Default various questions on Revit by a beginner user

1-drawing a stair with unequal width start to finish: how?
2-cutting geometry, like in autocad solid modeling: possible?
3-using a wall (like a board and batten wall) with vertical scores (not like the stacked wall, which is a horizontal stacking)

I will appreciate an answer, I would be more operative working in Revit
    Thank you

    1. Start drawing a stair of uniform width. While still in sketch mode, select the boundary lines and modify them as you wish.

    2. What kind of geometry are you cutting? If you choose to join walls that intersect, they will do so like a boolean union. Walls, floors, ceilings, roofs, beams, columns... most of these things work that way. There are built-in voids that will do a boolean difference. Shafts and openings work this way. Some things like stairs do not work this way at all. If you are creating a family or mass, all geometry can be joined. To do a boolean difference, you much create a void or turn a solid into a void then use cut.

    3. You can use the wall reveal tool to add vertical reveals or scores. You could use a Curtain Wall with only vertical grid lines and monkey around with the panel type. You could also just apply a material with a vertical line pattern to the exterior layer of your wall. Depending on what you are trying to accomplish, each of these has benefits.
