Map cant read *.tfwx, what other options

Is there any other way to bring in raster that has a *.tfwx, I understand that some of the referencing is now in *.aux files, and I dont think map can read that. BTW, using Map 2014, ArcMap 10.2.

Try to simply rename the TFWX file into TFW, sir.

I used ArcMap's Project tool to reproject and it turns out that in reprojecting, the tfw loses the x, so its the old file format. I'm not sure if renaming would have worked, since the little bit of reading I did mentioned that some of the referencing info is no long in the tfwx file. And um, that would be ma'am.
