Civil 3D 2014 Service Pack 2

Is anyone else having trouble installing Service Pack 2 for Civil 3D 2014? I tried installing it through the product updates tab in the software. I get a live update error. I then saved the service pack file and tried installing it. It won't seem to complete the installation. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

When you "saved the service pack file", does that mean you went to this page and downloaded the full ±164MB file?
Also, when you say "it won't complete the installation" - what exactly does that mean? Any error messages, or does it just hang at a certain point and you have to kill it?

Having this problem as well, comes up with "Installation Error" Error Code: 1603.
