Default Viewing point clouds in R15

I've tried nearly everything to visualize point clouds in R15 - no joy.

    Steps I have done:
    1.started a new Revit 2015 project
    2. indexed a .Las file
    3. Linked the corresponding .rcs and .rcp files
    4. chose positioning - Auto - Center to center
    5. screen is blank!!
    6. Zoom to fit - nothing changes, screen is blank!!
    7. Visibility / Graphic Overrides - > Point clouds: checked
    8. Manage links -> Point clouds: status loaded
    9. 3D view - blank!
    10. 2D view- blank!

    11. changed point cloud color modes -RGB,elevation, intensity - still blank!
    12. saved project and then linked to another - still blank!

Any ideas? Is there a problem with R15 displaying point clouds?

    Thanks for the help.

    Cheers,
    Paul

    View Ranges? Section Boxes? Cropping?
One outlying point a million miles away from the others, so that when you zoom extents, all you see is 2 black pixels separated by the whole screen?
