    Question CHANGE PLOT STYLE TABLE

Fact 1 - running AutoCAD 2005 on Windows 2000 Professional
Fact 2 - I am an AutoCAD user, no experience in modifying programs, etc. so be gentle with me.
Problem - I am working with a file of approx. 6000 active drawings. These were created with Release 13, 14, 2000i and now, of course, 2005. Each version used had a separate plot style table. Some of the older drawings used are not printing very well.
Question - Is there a way to do a global change on all drawings to the current one we are using or do I have to access each drawing to change?

    Thanks for the help.

    Hi

Have a browse of the following threads (they contain references to Auodesk's "Batch Drawing Converter" - Hint, take a look at the "Include Page Setups" option) -

    Batch Saving - 2000 to 2004

    Have a good one, Mike

If plotting as you go, you can always import a page setup into each drawing or just select the new plot style table as you plot. If plotting in a batch, you can use Publish and use a page setup containing the new plot style table for all drawings in the list (select all and use Import option when changing page setup).
Also, if you're not ready to plot all yet, but want them set up, Mike's suggestion of Batch Drawing Converter (including Page setups) should do the trick. Do note that selecting this option will wipe out any existing page setups in the drawings if that is a concern to you.
