Sloped Gas Piping

I need to add gas piping on roof sloped to match roof slope. I will also need to add pipe supports under this piping. How should I go about doing this? I have added sloped piping before but just using the standard slope tool. For the supports the I have tried using a generic model and a face based model but cannot get this to work correctly. Should I use a pipe accessory?

Find the slope of the roof, then add that slope to the MEP Settings manager. For pipe supports, all mine are pipe accessory categories.

You can also just look in section and rotate your pipe rather than use the slope tool. Once you have one piece of pipe sloped properly it would be easy to copy it around the roof with a common roof edge (to ensure the same distance between the pipe and the roof).

When creating a pipe support as a pipe accessory how many connectors do you put in the family? Are they listed as a system classification of global or something else? What is the part type (valve, sensor, normal, etc.)?

Part Type is normal and they have two connectors. All my hanger families are provided by SysQue and BuildingData.
