Summary: Schedule Curtain Walls within a Window Schedule

Description: As architects we document glazing (eg. for shopfronts) as windows.
This typically is specified within one specification section; Windows and Glazed Doors.
One single trade is usually responsible for Windows and Glazing.
eg. Capral extrusions would be used for both individual windows and; an assembly of windows and glazed doors.

Thus, it would make sense that windows and curtain walls be scheduled in the same table. Being able to schedule the curtain panels is not enough.

Typically individual panels need to be identified as part of the glazed system; not as separate elements.
eg.
A window would be tagged W01;
This 'window' contains 1xfixed glazed panel, 2xsliding glass doors; all part of one framed system.

The window contains multiple panels, but is part of one whole.

It needs to be identified in the Window Schedule as a Window; not in the Wall Schedule.

Creating assemblies of panels as a window family is time consuming and impractical in the bespoke design an architect works to achieve.
