Post Revit Structures Cellular Beam Set-up K1 and K2 Values

    Hi

When you import the standard Cellular beam from Revit standard library you get with Revit, Can anyone please tell me what the Values for K1 and K2 Stand for in the properties box. When you design a Cellular beam from the Westok Software you can transfer all the required values into your Revit Cellular beam to create it. The only values I cant get is for K1 and K2,

Does anyone know what these represent, Also not much info Online about this at all??

Any help would be appreciated .

    Cheers

My guess is that those values are related to the regular k values of the beam.

Did you simply open the family to have a look?

I believe that k1 is the sum of tf1 + r1, but it does not control anything in the family as far as I am aware.
    I hope that this helps.

Should be the distance from the centerline of the beam to the edge of radius for the top flange and bottom flange respectively since they can (and usually do differ in cellular (castellated) beams).
My guess is you wouldn't really notice this most cases.
I know there are several US companies that give you their family with and type catalog with everything completed for you.

    K1 Value is (tf1 + r1) Flange Thickness + Root Radii
K2 is, I think you'll get that one
