Default Make Layers Visible Based on Viewport Scale

Summary: Like in GIS software where you can see data displayed based on the visual scale, I would like the same to be applied to layers which will help save time from constant Freezing and Thawing of Viewports at different scales.

Description: Imagine when creating/modifying a layer so that it can be set to display within Viewports ONLY at Particular scales.

For example, if you are creating an overall civil Site Plan at a large scale, there is [typically] no need for the underground infrastructure to be displayed.

It would be productive if in the Layer Manager that you can highlight a series of layers that you do not want displayed after a certain scale factor, right-click, and then assign a "display layers up to" a certain viewport scale value, so when you create a new viewport (or modify the scale factor of an existing VP) those layers will automatically be "off" after a certain scale factor.

Of course, all the regular layer control options via a Viewport will still be available.

Given the level of specificity you (and each-and-every-single other firm) would require in order for this to even be remotely viable, consider implementing your own simple visual lisp reactor, that calls LayerState-Restore when a given Viewport's scale is changed.

    Cheers
