Default creating double door with multiple swings

I am trying to create a double door with multiple swing angles e.g. 15, 30, 45 degree. I have done so with the single door families. on the double door family I am able to create the multiple swings for one of the two doors. the other door I am only able to create one of hte swings (45 degree.) when I create the other angles on the other door and try to place it in a project a message comes up says that it cannot create said type and wants to delete it.

I am attaching the family for review.test-Double-Panel.rfa

You should consider using some nested graphics for the door representations in plan view. It's a whole lot easier to control (rorate, etc) a nested annotation than to control the lines directly in a family.

Why are you creating the angle as a type?

Many times you want to show existing doors as say a 45 degree and new doors as 90. Also sometimes you want to show those doors going into an electrical room with the 170 degree swing.
We do it. And type based just made it easier to know when people put things on wrong phases and such.
Make it part of the type, put it in the type name... done.
You'll need to use a nested element for the door to show the swing. Don't use the embedded panel, to hard to make it work IMHO.
As stated above nested graphics are the way to go. Place the family, align a corner, place an angle and let it adjust.
    Hope this helps.

It also might be an issue with the family. Have you tried to model anything in the "Generic Model Adaptive" workspace. It is more powerful but still creates a family that can be specified into a category other than Generic Model. From my understanding when modeling doors using this starting point won't bust at 0 or 90 like the door family will. Might be something to look into. Hope this helps, and if I'm incorrect on anything, please correct me.

We've let go of that old drafting practice a long time ago

I still have PM's that swear they need to have a circle on the detail section call outs. Even after I tell them it's not AIA standard, NCS standard or NIBS standard. So I got to create it anyway.
There's many of these old conventions I'd love to get rid of. Such as the idea of a "Opening Schedule". But hey, what do I know, I'm just the guy that's got to make it all magically work.
