Navisworks to Virtual Reality

We are trying to make a quick and dirty VR system with the cardboard VR glasses and a smartphone. Has anyone tried to put a Navisworks model into a VR system or better yet a VR system that is based on a smartphone? If so how did you do it. I am working on a set of glasses that I downloaded off the net and had cut out on a laser cutter. It looks awsome. Now I just need to get it to work!

Did you tried Unity? Im teaking a REvit file into it then into Oculus Rift but there's plenty of package to use on different setup.
