I have adjusted view range settings and haven't found anything to give this effect. When I rotate the model in real time in a radiosity view, I notice that the model pieces hovering in front of the camera are being cut off nicely, but they are 'hollow'.

Is it possible to use a cut plane in front of the camera, with solid model pieces showing? I would like to show a room interior from the outside of the building.

    Thanks

go to a 3d view, turn on section box under view properties, adjust as required, now create a new camera view from a floorplan or site plan, then under the rendering tab/settings there is a choice to use section box from view, pick the 3d view. then render

(Ed Note: Make sure you are in a Shaded view. The section box does not affect wireframe or hidden line modes)
