Default Line and Curve label tags sequential numbering

Summary: Line and Curve label tags need to be generated sequentially.

Description: When adding line and curve labels using the Multiple Segment Label Type, and using [label tag number] for the content of the text, the numbers are not generated sequentially. The line and curve labels always skip numbers at random. The numbers need to be generated sequentially.

I don't find that it skips around in Civil 3D 2015.
If I start with L1, the next one is L2, and so on.

Need more information and a step by step example.

I am having the same problem. I label a polyline with multiple segments (lines and curves) Table is created as L1 then L3. there is a curve between line 1 and line 3. Curve table starts off with C1 and stays sequential.
