Default AB114-2: LEED-ing Your Project Into the Green Revolution

    Instructor: Nick Bower

Class Description: LEED® EQc 8.1 can be achieved several ways by leveraging Building Information Modeling (BIM). You will learn how to calculate, through a series of schedules, the glazing factor associated with any room in Revit Architecture 2010. You will also learn how to utilize energy analysis software solutions such as Ecotect® Analysis 2010 or Integrated Environmental Solutions (IES <ve></ve>) in combination with Revit Architecture 2010 to calculate footcandle levels. With this data you will be able achieve Option 1 or 2 of the Daylight and Views credit in the LEED Reference Guide v2.2. This class is intended for users with an advanced working knowledge of Revit Architecture, but not necessarily a working knowledge of Ecotect Analysis 2010 or IES<ve></ve>. This class is subject to update, based on the LEED Reference Guide v3.<ve></ve><ve></ve>
