Default DL122-1: Numbers and Sense: Communicating Sustainable Design Data Effectively

    Instructors: Skander Spies

Class Description: What do the results of energy analysis really mean? How can those results be communicated effectively? What does it take to provide owners with the information they need to support sustainable design features proposed in a project? Working through the process of energy analysis as it parallels the design schedule, I'd like to highlight tools and information that have proved useful in educating clients about the numbers behind energy analysis and building performance. Furthermore, the course would look at a variety of analysis options beyond strict energy modeling and their application in real-world situations.
