Default CR304-1: The Application of Autodesk Navisworks for Design Coordination Clash Analysis and Construction Planning on Large

    Instructor: Ronan Collins

Class Description: The most effective software tool for combining architectural, structural, and MEP 3D models is the Navisworks suite. This class will demonstrate how to plan a BIM project to enable the use of Navisworks for clash analysis, interference checking, construction planning and presentation. We have used Navisworks since 2004, and we have developed systems and processes which allow us to quickly identify and resolve design and buildability issues. This class will benefit project managers, architects, engineers and contractors who are responsible for managing and leading design coordination. The class will show our experience and the lessons we have learned on a 250,000 sq m air cargo facility and a 95,000 sq m retail and office development.
