CR218-1: An Introduction to Autodesk Quantity Takeoff

Class Description: Autodesk Quantity Takeoff (QTO) is new and exciting software that allows intelligent design data to be used for quantity survey. QTO utilizes both 3D and 2D design content created from many Autodesk products to automate or greatly enhance the speed of extracting quantities (counts, linear footages, square footages, etc.) These quantities can then be reported using the DWF™ platform or exported into third-party cost estimating solutions. This class will offer an overview of the software, with an emphasis on automated model and search takeoff features. Tips and tricks for use of the software will also be presented along the way.
