Instructor: Patrick Villella
Class Description: Different parts of the BIM team have different requirements for their Revit models. What is important to the design team is not necessarily important to the construction team, and vice versa. This course is especially for modelers at construction firms, although modelers at design firms will learn how they can modify some of their techniques to make their models even more usable by the construction team. We share tried-and-true methods to take a Revit design team model from the architect and transform it into a more detailed "constructable" model that offers a much better understanding of the building, enables accurate assessment and resolution of clashes and conflicts, allows for a visual schedule of the construction process, and can give additional instruction for subcontractors and other members of the construction team.
