Default CV322-1: Safer Highways With AutoCAD Civil 3D

    Instructor: Christine Conron

Class Description: Have you ever wondered just how safe your corridor design is? How many crashes can be expected over the design life? How much will these crashes increase the cost of your highway network? In this class, we will examine how to access the database of geometric information you create when designing a corridor, the safety predictor models available to you, and how to use these safety predictions on municipal and state level roadway design projects. The workflow discussed can also be applied to other discussions which involve the geometric characteristics of a corridor. Highway safety will be used as an example.
