Default Revit completely useless on a brand new Macbook Pro

I've just purchased a brand new Macbook Pro. While i preferred A Dell Precision M3800, I needed a laptop this week for upcoming presentations and traveling. The Dell M3800 would take at least a week before delivery. The idea is to use Bootcamp for all my software including Revit. To my huge surprise Revit is unusable on even in bootcamp. After installing the latest service packs of Revit, updating the graphics card, tinkering with different scaling settings, Unchecking graphical options in Revit, I'm unable to even work in a very basic sample project. Views are not even displayed, toolbar disappear, Revit hangs consistently...it's just a huge nightmare. My wife's $300,00 Acer works far better than this top of the line overpriced laptop. I'm completely flabbergasted by this. On a side note, Autocad does work reasonable.

Issue is solved. I've stayed with the 2880x1800 resolution, but changed the scaling to 125. Though 150 seems to work to. I've also changed a couple of settings in the graphic card.

Later on, no need to use bootcamp for Revit. Hosted Revit works fine with MacBook Pro.
