I think most bosses and companies have no idea how much money they are wasting.
Automating AutoCAD is not that hard (for me), these are relatively easy solutions to simple problems.
I'll bet I could at least double any detailer's production and accuracy for less than 1/4 of the cost of that detailer a year.
That is what AutomateCAD does...
If you guys were wondering.
I like hanging out here and answering questions just to keep my skills up.
Most all of these solutions take me about 1/2 hour to code.
And I write them mostly from scratch every time.

Hi, I've tested this LISP and I'm looking for something similar - but in the second direction. I want to copy values from drawing block attributes to default values in the block. Right now I have inserted blocks in the drawing that have values for tags. But when you edit the block all values for each tags are empty. Is it possible to make this type of routine?
Command (ex. blockattr2default) - select block in drawing - lisp copy text string from values in drawing to default values inside block
