    ok, anyway to bring these into Map/C3D as georeferenced?

    MAPCONNECT Command does not support geoPDF, AFAIK; you can connect to geoPDF, but the Add to Map button is disabled. This might be a good feature request for 2016 beta though.

    Have you tried converting the geoPDF to a geoTIFF?

    That wish has been asked since the GeoPDF was introduced back 4-5 years ago. Don't think it will happen for a number of years. From what I understand is the GeoPDF folks will only work with the ESRI folks and have a agreement allowing them to use the code exclusively. Autodesk missed the boat.
