    Default Sweep and profile problem

I am working on a parametric family for ADA grab bar. I am setting the tube up to be 1 1/4" and 1 1/2" diameter. I also want the inside edge of the bar to hold 1 1/2" from the wall regardless of the tube diameter. I set my sweep up to path along the inside edge with my circle profile sweeping outside. When I flex the model everything appears to work great. When I insert it into a project and flex it, the profile seems to pull away from the edge of the path when the diameter changes.

I think the problem is in the path. What is constraining the length of the path? That is not clear in your family. Also, I think you should use the center of the bar as the path, to keep the geometry of the arches at the end in the correct way.
