Default Hatched and solid representation of conduit and cable tray in xrefs

I have xrefs in my drawings where the conduit and cable tray in these xrefs shows up as hatched, with small portions of conduit showing up as solid colors. This is not how they are represented in the native drawing. They also plot as hatched and solids. I thought that this might be a display manager or style manager setting. I have copied these settings from drawings that don't do this into the drawings that do, without any change, so it appears that this is not what is creating the issue. The sections of conduits that show up as solid typically are bends, but this is only happening to a small number of the whole.

Shading over the conduit would probably be coming from a fill option from the display manager. However the hatching on the tray is a separate property on the straight sections to apply the hatching. It's in the routing preference options. You can select the tray itself, and change from "Diagonal" or "Horizontal" lines, and the spacing between them, or simply put in a range larger than your longest run to get it to go away.
