Default Angle of Deflection needed on Fittings

Summary: Revit needs to have an Angle of Deflection option like AutoCAD MEP does. This is sorely needed for drain systems as well as High Purity piping systems. Basic problem is; I can't model what the field can build. This also applies to Duct work systems as well.

Description: Revit needs to have an Angle of Deflection option/column like AutoCAD MEP does. This is sorely needed for drain systems as well as High Purity piping systems (especially where plastics are concerned, HDPE, Teflon, Kynar, PVCs). Basic problem is; I can't model what the field can actually build. This also applies to Duct work systems as well.

If this were added as a routing rules option for systems then it could be set to what is actually feasible in the real world. This would open up Revit to be used across a much wider range of construction projects.

Angle of Deflection needed on Fittings/Systems not as an overall MEP setting

Summary: Revit needs to have an Angle of Deflection option like AutoCAD MEP does. It needs to be part of the System settings and not the overall MEP settings. This is sorely needed for drain systems as well as High Purity piping systems. Basic problem is; I can't model what the field can build. This also applies to Duct work systems as well.

Description: Revit needs to have an Angle of Deflection option/column like, AutoCAD MEP does, that can be applied to fittings or System routing settings directly, not an overall MEP setting. This is sorely needed for drain systems as well as High Purity piping systems (especially where plastics are concerned, HDPE, Teflon, Kynar, PVCs). Basic problem is; I can't model what the field can actually build. This also applies to Duct work systems as well.

If this were added as a routing rules option for systems then it could be set to what is actually feasible in the real world per system/spec. This would open up Revit to be used across a much wider range of construction projects.
