Hatch pattern - error in reading pattern file

I have a hatch pattern that has gone bad.....probably cause I no longer have it in my patterns.......
I have it in a dwg but cant get it to MP or inherit properties... I need to use this pattern but it wont let me......error in reading pattern file.....

can anyone help me.....if not in a way to fix this, provide a hatch similar.......thanks

Go to: http://www.turvill.com/t2/free_stuff/index.htm and download GETPAT.LSP. This routine may be used to extract hatch pattern data from existing drawings when the .pat file containing the original information is not available.

Hello, this is the essence of my .pat file and I still get an error reading the file. It's so simple and I've tried using different spacing, different encoding, etc., no luck--Can anyone tell me what the problem is???

First of all, thanks for replying. Second, I substituted the values as you recommended. Now when I attempt to select that hatch pattern in the hatch menu, I still get a series of "error reading hatch file" notices and beeps, but after about 3 or four clicks it completes the hatch, with no apparent graphic errors. Third, I am confused why the horizontal distribution of the lines for the pattern are dependent on the dY value not the dX value (x-axis is horiz., y-axis is vert., right?)

Firstly, no worries.

Secondly, I'm baffled by your ability to get past the "error reading hatch file" notices to a result as my experience is that the error leads signals an impasse. Odd. Did you store and use the pattern in a file called "Board and Batt.pat" or add it to the standard pattern file ACAD.PAT?

Thirdly, dX and dY are measured as if the line were horizontal, so for a vertical line dX appears vertical and dY horizontal. Here's a good explanation:
