Cant select / delete this line

Hello everyone,

I´ve drawn an ventilation system for a house in Revit MEP 2014.
Somehow there seems to be a line visible in de 3D views, but I can´t select it, to delete it.

I´ve added a screenshot to visualize the problem.

Does anyone know a way to delete the line? It bothers me tremendously.

Thanks in advance for any responses.

PS: When i copy the entire installation to the 2nd house, it does NOT copy the model line, only the rest.

Model lines are considered underlay elements in a Mechanical view

In the lower right corner click the second icon so that you can select underlay elements

It could also be a line in the architectural model. Hit the tab key while hovering over the line and see if you are able to select it then. Make sure your selection (drop-down menu under the arrow button on the ribbon) allows you to select links. If you can select the line this way you can hide it in the view.
