Okay, I could have sworn there was a way to generate a table of contents in Word, by pointing at separate word docs, having their Headings be the text of the TOC entries, and hyperlinked to those documents.
Was I imagining things, or am I just too thick to figure this out?
I see how to do a TOC from within a single document, but, I was hoping to keep them separate (working on a processes and procedures manual, and there are a dozen different owners for the topics covered).
