Default Offset text line/Best fit/Move Text No Leader (Dynamic Block)

Not sure this is the right forum to be posting in, but here goes nothing

I'm looking to automate dimensioning via dynamic block... but when I select move text no leader(In order to make that one part scalable)

...AutoCAD does not hold true with best fit

...Why is this and how can I fix it, without constantly holding my dimensions extended???

    Sample drawing attached better explained

    Is this what you wanted?
If so all you needed to do was drag the grip from the center of the text to the center of the dimension line.

The previous solution should work also.
    I personally wouldn't use dimensions.
I would make my own with fields and lines.

I just thought how you would apply with lines.

How would the previous solution solve that issue?? I'm lost
