Default Importing to Revit 2015 from FabMEP

Hi all, i'm using Revit 2015, and i have files that were created in AutoCad with FabMEP add on. when i try to import the 3D drawing, i get a warning "Some ACIS objects could not be imported. to import them, use AutoCad to convert them into polymesh objects and reimport". how to i convert them? we have tried to use FabMEP to do it, but don't know what command to use. it's a large project, so i don't want to explode anything. i need to have all the geometry to come over, including hangers, and insulation. any help would be appreciated.

If you have CADmep, run "ifce" in AutoCAD to produce an IFC export to link into Revit. When I was doing this stuff repeatedly, that was one common method I used. The other option is saving the file off, exploding, importing into a generic model family, then placing the generic model in Revit. I believe the FAB import tool hosted on labs was discontinued since the release of 2016 titles.
