    Default 2013 Xref changes

I have been supplied with a drawing which looks for an early xref Rev e. I have been supplied with a Rev h drawing.
I cannot figure out how to alter the drawing to look and load this Rev h Xref.
    Help would be appreciated.

By the way no Prefix drop down list on my screen!

    Welcome to AUGI.

In the XREF Palette, you can change the reference's name and file path as needed, or simply detach the problem reference and attach the correct reference, so long as there are no layer settings you wish to retain.

    Thank you BlackBox,
I have managed to LOAD the new Xref but the content is not displayed. The xef is shown as Loaded in the Xref listing, should it show as attached? I Reconciled all the layers. Could it be that the new xref is not attached at the correct point?

A quick Zoom Extents *should* answer that... Could the XREF be on a frozen/off layer? In Layer Manager, are all/any XREF-specific layers thawed/on?

you should also check the value of INSBASE in both the original, and replacement xref files. Are they the same? Is the coordinate value of the objects in the Xref the same?

    Also, FWIW -

I started using this recently... Large 3-phase development, with a separate roadway improvement/water main extension sub-project, that was originally in one project folder structure, and naming convention, until we recently changed the entire setup of both (again; grrr)... And Tim's work was a lifesaver:

... Just needed to compile for 2015-2016, and redo some layer states.

No luck with this. Also INSBASE is 0,0,0 on both Xref files.
I have now overcome the problem by renaming the Rev h xref file to Rev e.
I will have to sort this out eventually.
    Many thanks John
