    Default BLOCKS, ATTDEF, AND SCALES...

    Hi all,

I've inherited a drawing with nested blocks - about 100 of them. I'm trying to change the color of the text of the attributes to white, but this block was done "incorrectly". I've exploded the block and put it on layer 0 and made everything by layer. The problem I'm having is using the replace block function. When I replace the original block to my new one, THE SCALING IS OFF. I think by about 40x. So the lines are super small, BUT THE TEXT IS THE CORRECT SIZE. I tried to scale the block up 40x, but the text ends up being huge.

Hmmm...I'm not sure what to make of this.

Many thanks, I've been googling and looking around for the last few days.

Big fan of REFEDIT as well, for the non-Bylayer aspects.

    Cheers
